Bram Stoker's DRACULA with Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder, Anthony Hopkins and Keanu Reeves.
That's the best one cuz all the A class actors were in there. And the director is one of the most influential directors in the world. The scenario, setting, wardrobes and special effects were also an extraordinary presentation of a very classic tale of a vampire story which was interpreted in the modern up-to-date shapes and forms. I mean it can be enjoyed and existed in the year of 2200. So I presume this one is the best ever of vampire movie of all time.

There's a really excellent film, very little down but very clever and it's called 'Martin'. Basically, it's a very serious film about a confused teenager who thinks he's a vampire. It was from 1977 and was Directed by George A Romero (a la Night of The Living Dead, Dawn of The Dead, Day of the Dead etc) and has become a cult classic. Aside from that, for a real vampire film, you just cant beat "The Hunger" starring David Bowie and Catherine Deneuve from the 1980's.

Nosferatu (an oldie but a goodie), and Shadow of the Vampire (a fictional - or is it - account of the filming of Nosferatu) Willem Dafoe is amazing and genuinely unsettling and scary in Shadow of the Vampire - see it if you haven't.
I think that the best Vampire movie is yet to be made. Most of them have their good points - but none are amazing. It's such a great villain/topic too.
Blade was almost it - but I was underwhelmed at the end. Nice handling of the subject matter though.

Blade and From Dusk till Dawn can't pick which is better, I enjoyed both greatly.
Wow reading some of the other answers I forgot about Lost Boys and Bram Stokers Dracula I am really conflicted now. have to mention Underworld as a really cool movie too.

I personally liked a movie that came out some years ago called "near dark'. it wasnt a very big movie; it was about a group of vampires who wandered around the South in a van with blacked out windows, and it had streaks of humor in it. I liked it because it wasnt the typical "dracula" type film; it broke new ground in plot, and I found that refreshing. Here is a link from Internet Movie Database:
