That is a touchy subject for me.My daughter had a door slammed on her finger,her little finger was hanging off.
I wave them about,then put them in my mouth.

I scream like It is the end of the world and grab them with my other hand, sit down, cry, curse, cry, curse, cry, cry, cry (did I mention cry?) OK so I am a big baby when it comes to my fingers being hurt... lol
It is funny that you ask that because the other night I was moving a hide-a-bed couch and when I set it down my finger got stuck in between the bar at the bottom and some yellow plastic thing and I could not get it out I was screaming so loud that like 10 minutes after my roommate saved me, the cops showed up because the neighbors called them and said that someone was being murdered----and my closest neighbor is like 5 blocks away....
:( my finger still hurts and has a cut across the fingernail..

Shove them in my mouth, then wave them about, then shove them in my mouth, then squeeze them between my knees...all the while saying a lot of profanities...it hurts SO much when you do that.

I do neither. I use my other hand to press on my hurt hands. It works just the same as putting it in your mouth.
