i can remember gettin 64 from japan before they came out here payed 450 pounds got zelda with it all in japanise but i spent nearly 3 weeks none stop on it and it is one of the best games i have ever played and have ordered my wii with zelda cant wait

No, because Zelda is only available on Nintendo. Comparing all RPGs between the different consoles, the PC, covering also eastern and western style RPGs there's no simple answer and and no simple best RPG.

Zelda is more like adventure
And is one of the games that have a great storyline and if you are talking about the las zelda twilight princess is one of the best games made for this year

I like the medievil type of adventuring of Zelda the bosses and stuff but not so much the puzzles and mini-games. I love Shadow of The Colossus and Ico on PS2 they have very basic storylines and fun puzzles. Especially Shadow of The Colossus which has I think 16 bosses and thats it!!! No tombs or anything- you just gotta figure out how to kill them by climbing them and stabbing them in the head and stuff-the most kick *** game I've ever played bar the Metal Gear Solid Series!!!

first off zelda is not an rpg, rpg's are turn based... and second, the zelda series is one of the main highlights of the videogame industry (along with mario, megaman, sonic, and cloud) its one of the best things out there!

Perhaps one of the best RPG around if you are using nintendo console!
But there is a plethora of better RPG games for the PC.

Of course, its the best game series ever.
Hunt down ocarina of time, its the best game youll ever play.
final fantasy is also good, not in the same league as zelda though.
