??? why do you need to hit a 3 when you are in the lead? i don't get the question, you have to react to the situation, its not rocket science. If you look at statistics, an excellent 3-point shooter will only be at 40%, so obviously you want to be on defense rather than having to make a game winning 3 pointer.

If the team is leading the game--the object is to remain defensive and not let the other team score...........if the team is in the lead it would be too risky to chance a 3 point shot!

if you are leading you dont need to score that means the 3pter isnt needed. so im guessing when the other team has the ball and they shoot the block would be the way to go. just like peter warrick did against kansas in the national championship game to give syracuse the title.

You don't need a 3 point shot in the dying seconds if you are leading.

You just need decent defense, not too tight so that refs can't blow a whistle.

i would say put 1 hand in front of the ball and but yr other hand on the left side of the ball just let it go through the air and in to the basket if u really want to make it intersting when u start to shoot jump in the air and let it go

i would rewrite the rules of the game, like Captain Kirk did in the Kobeyashi Maru training exercise.
