The idea that because God gave us freewill, that we have brought evil & suffering onto ourselves! Adam and Eve had freewill they commited the 'orginal sin' and all humanity and the angelic realm has fallen. But why would god allow this? surely he saw it happening if he is all knowing... and so on...

If God is outside time and space, and all knowing then surely he new that they would be tempted and would take the fruit. So in that case he allowed evil to take place! and he created that evil. Is an all loving God able to create beings possible of doing evil.

My proposition is that "evil does not exist".
And the existence of what is called "evil in the world" is just the lack of man's will to make decisions based on moral values.
Here is the proof.
Good exists, it comes from a source.
Bad or evil does not exist, there is no source for bad.
Evil is just the absence of good.
A metaphor will illustrate the point.
Light exists, there is a planet called sun that sends us light.
Darkness does not exist, there is no planet sending us darkness. Darkness is just the absence of light.
Imagine you enter a room full of darkness, the moment you flip a switch all the darkness disappears instantly and it has no pwer to fight the light.
Good actions have their source in the moral values aquired by men. The source is the effort and energy he has spent during a lifetime to acquire them.
Bad or evil is just the lack of moral values.
Take kindness..
Kindness is a virtue and comes from a person that has made a conscious effort to polish his character.
Cruelty which is the opposite and is considered bad or evil, is the absence of kindness. It comes from a lack of a virtue.
We are all born with the "potential" to reach an ever increasing
amount of perfection in our life. It all depends on the "effort" that we are willing to make.

Friend - I do not use the freewill defense to explain evil, so no it does not. Man/Woman has evil in them and for some it cannot be contained or controlled. So, as long as people exist, evil will exist. No group of people has a claim on good over evil, it comes in all sizes, shapes and colors...and beliefs. GBY

There is but one will. Gods will.Ones sense of self separate an apart from god is the problem. The essence of your being is unconditional love, you are one with God within the heart. your purpose is to awaken to THAT. When you do not understand that ,"GOD DWELLS WITHIN YOU AS YOU", You lose your birthright. When you then say I have freewill you steal that which is your fathers. It is a paradox, a thing caused by the concepts of duality within your mind. one living this state of separation is in the level of law and living in "sin" where evil exist. Follow your heart into spiritual unity with God.

it really is going to be glaring that if God were to at contemporary choose evil then none will be saved. Evil is licensed and manged so as that danger would receive for some to repent and be saved. that's so crushingly glaring yet multitudes imagine they are so smart and better yet yet one way or the different fail to work out this type of straight forward actuality. How can such large minds omit the elephant contained in the room? Do they surely have the minds of insects so as now to not worry by elephants? Or is it sin that blinds them of their pride? what number circumstances have you ever heard undesirable Epicurus' stupid and poor reasoning quoted right here? it would want to easily be quoted by fools who won't be able to imagine for themselves and note that's obvious deficiency. it would want to easily be meant he became having amusing at those who blindly repeat others, and regrettably there is not any scarcity of empty minds in this communicate board.

The existence of evil? and free will. What had begun in the heart and mind came after the first feeding. what was handed down which caused greed. Who gave freely in the beginning. What then was evil ,not being content with existence as it was. Who looked upon me first. who thought to feed. when i was in a place alone when the eye of someone looked upon me. as a light i could then see myself looking up toward The deceiver came as a light and handed down a feeding. when i was not in need of being fed. where you ask the argument for free will. this is my story view it as you will.

I have my own view.

Freewill does not exist.

It is the illusion of freewill which bloats our ego and it is such bloated ego that begets evil.

Every evil can be traced either to self interest or self appeasement ..... quite often the latter!!

not only it ain't, but in my view, the supposed free will as usuallyu described and especially by modern day ministers and priests, is hardly a true free will at all. Duality offers no choice, regardless of the tricky logic that seems to support such an argument

We live in a dualistic reality. In order to know something, you have two aspects of it. You can not know up, without knowing down. You can not know good, without knowing bad. Free will is the degrees of knowing something. Free will covers an infinite range of knowing something. You have to know a saint, by knowing a serial killer. You will always have both ends of the spectrum.

Peace is attained when you can be close to the fulcrum and be happy/sad in equal amounts.
