I used to be, but I ignore them. Sometimes I think somebody just runs into answers, spews out thumbs downs, and runs out giggling into his/her hands.

It depends on the question I'm answering. Sometimes I say something that would offend some people, but the truth hurts, so I am not really offended. I'm not a callous person though. However, I really love when the askers of the question thank me for a question I have answered, or if I get voted as best answer.

Nah but it don't make sense to get a thumbs down for a good answer or one pertaining to the question. If it is a totally off the wall answer I expect a thumbs down.

No way! When I type Dumb questions, I get THUMBS DOWN and When I type Good Questions I get THUMBS UP!!!

I used to be until i saw some perfectly good questions and answers get thumbs downs.
You don't have to stew over it.

Only if they are being a jerk or I put a lot of thought or information into it.
If I am just plain misinformed about something and I gave wrong data, then it doesn't bother me. I usually don't answer questions I am not informed about though.

Yes, that's why I don't ask so much anymore. Even if it's a normal question, it seems like there is at least one sourpuss.
