1. Apparently the only points deducted are those attributable to the alleged violator.

2. There is no freedom of speech on a privately-owned forum, although ordinary non-discrimination rules, and defamation law, apply.

The free speech protections of the First Amendment only applies to governmental restrictions on speech. The First Amendment does not apply in a private forum like this.

Yahoo offers this services for free. You have freedom. If you choose not to follow the rules, you have the freedom to leave and not use this service.

As for point deductions, they only deduct points from the alleged violator.
