She'll never sound anything like an adult female singer yet, so play a wild card and get her to sing something by a soft voiced male. James Blunt or Jack Johnson for instance.
Is there any backing instruments or is it just a vocal performance? I think one of the best auditions you could do is "The Scientist" by "Coldplay". Can be done beautifully with nothing but a piano.
Another one which no one would see coming is "Don't Leave" by "Faithless". The guy singing it isn't very good, but a female voice would really lift the song.
Singing a traditional young girly song will just make her an "also ran". Singing something of a frsh generation rather than a twee "Chim Chimney" or "Over the rainbow" will have peoples ears pricking up, rather than thinking "oh, a mini judy garland again - yawn!"
Best Of Luck, would love to know how it goes and what song you decide to sing.

I have a dream?
Lyrics:
I have a dream, a song to sing
To help me cope with anything
If you see the wonder of a fairy tale
You can take the future even if you fail
I believe in angels
Something good in everything I see
I believe in angels
When I know the time is right for me
I'll cross the stream - I have a dream
I have a dream, a fantasy
To help me through reality
And my destination makes it worth the while
Pushing through the darkness still another mile
I believe in angels
Something good in everything I see
I believe in angels
When I know the time is right for me
I'll cross the stream - I have a dream
I'll cross the stream - I have a dream
I hae a dream, a song to sing
To help me cope with anything
If you see the wonder of a fairy tale
You can take the future even if you fail
I believe in angels
Something good in everything I see
I believe in angels
When I know the time is right for me
I'll cross the stream - I have a dream
I'll cross the stream - I have a dream
I think this song is quite positive...

I can't remember who sung it but that song "I've got you under my skin" is sort of ballady. Or how about The Voice Within by Christina Aguilera?
