What was your feelings that the mother had all of her boys at war at one time?
Do you think the government should have been watching closer so that all of them weren't there at once??

Yes I did - I didn't care for it, although the d-day landing footage was tremendously moving and well done in all aspects.

Many families had sons who were at war at the same time. It was just how it was, it was war. Everyone who was able bodied felt that they should fight. There was a real woman who they loosely based the mother on - she did lose some of her children. The Kennedy family had a son Joseph Patrick Kennedy Jr.
killed in action in WWII while flying a bombing mission over Europe and President John F Kennedy was also enlisted at the same time. I don't know how they delt with it, but that was how life was.

I highly recommend the HBO mini series Band of Brothers - it is an excellent look at WW2, also produced by Tom Hanks and Spielberg.

- Its one of my favorite movie.
- I just felt that why had god given her life.
- Of course they should be, they just cannot steal sons to make themselves win, still in the olden times the government was a bit patriotic, today its mostly crazy politics.
