Well, the thing that makes me go hmmmm is when I see dogs with wheels instead of back legs.

if something in the future is canceled, what is canceled? what has really happened? something that didnt occur yet is now never going to occurat all. Does that qualify as an event?
Heres another one.. You've never been to your friends place of work, but you've pictured it. Then he changes jobs but its a similar job. Do you bother to change your mental picture of where he works? By how much ? Or your friend works at one Wendys and get transferred to a different Wendys. Do you picture a whole new Wendys? Or do you just get lazy and say " they're pretty much the same, so Ill go with the old one.

I thought you meant hmmm? as in how intriguing so for me that would be reading the synopsis for hollyoaks and wondering how people can actually sit and watch it! No offence to any one who does however. If you did mean mmmmmm though I would have to say when my fiance comes home wearing a suit and looking amazingly hansom!
