Good question, though I aren't sure were the 10 most deprived areas are, I would say parts of London and Manchester are two of the biggest, most towns and cities have deprived areas these days so I suppose its anybodies guess as to were they are.

You could go to channel 4 and see if you can get a list of 'Location, Location's' top ten worst/best. I should imagine that their 10 worst place to live conincide with the deprived ones. From memory, northern ireland didn't fare well, nor did the north of England. South is better off.

Would agree with Low Hill in Wolverhampton used to work with kids there, was interesting...... Seen worse but a lot of places are a lot better than they used to be South Shields Tyne and Wear for example, Blythe even...
