Oh British Gas! They are just disgusting. Go to their website www.home.co.uk and there is an opportunity to complain via email, they say they aim to answer in 24 hours. I did just that a week ago, No reply. They are appalling. I have complained to my MP because they have behaved so badly. I'm really thinking of getting a bus full of people together to go and make a very noisy and sustained protest outside the home of whoever is in charge. Sorry, I'm rambling. Best way to complain? with your money. do what I'm doing. Go to another supplier. I had phone gas and electric with them. So they have now lost about £2000 a year.

Email them and send the same in a letter to them - that way you have proof of the complaint. I have to say they were very good when they dealt with a complaint I made and sent me a £50 cheque as a goodwill gesture xx

Write a letter saying you are thinking of changing to electric power unless they improve the service.

Seartch the internet for names of the top managers, email them directly at name.name@bgasblah blah (whatever their email is set up to be), and see if you get any arrive where you want them too!
Contact enerywatch, it's the industry regulator!
Failing that, go on BBC watchdog website and report it to them.

write a letter or do what i did and go to your regional paper it worked for me, i had no gas last Christmas, none for a week they kept telling me there is nobody to come out to fix my meter as it is Christmas time but hey A day after i went to the papers they came out.

none we even put a complaint into some body or other and they never even bothered getting in touch with us! and that was someone to do with the government cant rem who now!Good luck is all i can say! they dont seem to care
