All things are but God expressing his vision of himself. The essence of are being is unconditional love, having unity with God within the heart. Our purpose is to awake to "that",our duty is to express "that".

It always kills me, and seems the height of arrogance, that ppl (not you, necessarily) assume there's some grand purpose to all this, and absolutely refuse to accept the idea that we're all here due to a unique and wonderful confluence of the laws of physics and '$hiT happens'.
Enjoy your time on this planet - it's the only time during which your DNA holds materials together long enough for you to have a conciousness. Once you're die, the materials that happen to be contained in your body and arranged by your DNA at the moment will scatter throughout the planet and eventually the universe, and if you'd like to consider that reincarnation, knock yourself out.
In the meantime, don't worry yourself looking for reason or purpose for your existance - there isn't one, or at least not one that's preordained - just make the most out of it and enjoy the ride.
Oh, and that was a nice reply about the different angles - very romantic notion. The only point I'd add is that, since there is little or no natural selection occurring in the human race, evolution has essentially stopped. The only genetic changes that could be happening species-wide would be those that come from the increased fecundity of whichever subsets are having the most babies. Evolution is driven by reproductive success, and there seems to be nothing preventing anyone and everyone from spitting out as many rug rats as they please, so the species will evolve to represent those that are spitting out the most. Scray prospect, no?

Depends from which angle you look from it, if you are looking at it from the bibilical point of view, you will realise that during creation, God was lonely and he also need someone to watch over His beautiful Creation and that the reason he Created Man.
In Scientific theory we are here as a result of evolution which according to scientist is still continue as man evolves every day.
I am of the opinion that in the beginning it was about to a companion to God and look after his creation, but as man evolved, he drifted from understanding that we are all equal and some races thought they were superior than others, in the end, Human Mission become that of achieving world peace. That the reason why we are still here in time memorial

and termination. Human race is part of being hence it had an origin, it has an existence and it will have an end too, for sure!!
