If your Rambler had a 6 cylinder engine you will have to change the whole drive train, otherwise it will be modifications as you go along. This swap has been done many times before and you should have a real good sleeper car when your done.

This has been done a few times over the years...

Installing the engine you will need to decide which year will be best for your driving habbits... I recommend with no matter which you go with make sure your Drive belt sysytem is serpentine (where you have one belt driving the Alt and Power steering...

You will need to get motor mounts installed that work with the engine block you choose... Check aftermarket places Like Jegs.com for kits... There are alot of little things also but to many to list here.

Next you will need a transmission to go with your engine choice. easyest will be TH350... Coolest with fuelmileage and Preformance would be a 700R4 4spd... can get a floor shifter from B&M for both... Remeber you will need a rear crossover mount for the transmission... All if you go with Automatic Transsion...

Driveshaft will need to be made to match up the transmission yoke back to the rear end pinion... You can work with the rear end that is in there 1st and update later...

Don't forget about fuel system, coolant system, ETC...

It can be done and on a budget... Good Luck...
