In general, I don't approve of teenage sex. I know it is incredibly difficult to hold back and resist, but you are really not emotionally ready until later.
I think too often one or the other party really isn't ready, but they end up doing it because "why not?" or "everyone else is" or "I'll lose him/her if I don't..."
Those really aren't good reasons, though I know they seem vital at the time.
Whatever happens, FULL PROTECTION...from STDs and pregnancy, is an absolute must. You don't want your lives changed irreparably (sp?) at this point.
Of course, children are wonderful, but 16 is way too young to reasonably be expected to handle this.
Best of luck to you, and to the other teenagers...tread slowly and be careful, be safe. Don't do anything you aren't fully ready to do, for whatever reason. Remember, there's always tomorrow...but there's no going back.

No matter the consequences of sex, teens are going to do it. You have raging hormones, and a steady boyfriend/girlfriend. You are going to experiment. With all the birth control and technology out there, there is NO REASON a girl in the united states should be pregnant, or have a STD, unless it was against thier will. Sex is okay, as long as you use your head first, and you really think about what's going on and be safe.

It all depends on your morals, and religious background. Im not a virgin but that doesnt mean im sleeping with anyone at the moment. Its a personal choice and im sure that everyone will be different on this one...however i do want to congratualate u on ur twins..im sure they're gonna be beautiful

It's not about approval it is their choice to have or not have sex and their right. Remember teens 18 & 19 are legal adults 17yr olds are young adults also. They need no ones approval to make their decisions.

You can't change the past. I don't aprove of teen sex because a teen is not mature enough to handle the consequences, like pregnancy and STDs.

I don't have any moral objections to it, but I plan on staying a virgin, until I'm 18.
