~If you're anxious, try a different home pregnancy test. If you're still unsure, go to the doctor. Although, their tests are about as accurate as those you buy.
Do you have any symptoms of early pregnancy? Sensitive nipples, nausea, sleepiness, heartburn or weight loss?
If not, I wouldn't worry. Having nausea is a sign of a healthy pregnancy.
You could be getting a negative test because you MIGHT have a miscarriage. There is nothing you can do about the miscarriage, you probably wouldn't even be able to see it when your period starts. It happened to me.
Your period could just be late. Worrying won't change the outcome.
Good luck.

a missed period is not absoluetly a sign of being pregnant.

There are other factors for a missed period

any woman: stress, rapid weight loss or gain, illness, drugs (certain tranquilizers) may have disrupted cycle
sexually active: pregnancy
using the Pill Pill brand is too low in estrogen
former Pill user: body hasn't yet adjusted to life off the pill; see doctor if periods don't resume in 3 months
using Mini-Pill, Norplant, or Depo-Provera: common side effect of progestin-only methods of birth control — drug is probably suppressing ovulation as well as period, effect may be prolonged; most common among new users of Norplant and long-term users of Depo-Provera

Well first things first, you can only be pregnent if you have had sex, if you havent had sex that theorys out the window. Otherwise go see a doctor and just tell them whats been going on period wise and im sure they will tell you that it ok, also get a few oppinons.

If you are young you shouldn't worry but take a second test just in case.
