No - US games are NTSC and run at a different frame rate and are also locked out from play on a UK machine, British Xbox360 games are Pal and in tur won't work on a machine from another region. In the past it has been possible to chip a machine or with certain companies buy a disk that will bypass the lock out, but I'm currently unaware if this exists for the 360.
