how can i find out if an email address is right one?

Try starting a Yahoo group and click on invite link . There type the email id u want to know whether it exists. u wont have to send an invite as there is a final making sure. If u get that page, then u can be sure the id is correct. Else it tells u whether id doesnt exists - even for gmail. Also try sending mails; u may get a message saying the mail was not delivered as id doesnt exist.
Maybe the error is in domain(.com,.co.uk,.co.in etc). i think it works as i have tried it myself.

check the details of the email address
try to use it.
send a trial email to it
check your email for an error about it.
