i saw a clip on google. One of the front pant legs is cut open and your shoe is tied or glued at the bottom creating the illusion that your foot is inside the whole time. Since the audience is behind the performer, you carefully stick your leg out in front of you stepping onto a chair or anything. From behind, all you see is both legs, but you cant see your leg coming out of the opening, especially if your wearing black.

HE'S A FAKE! All his so-called "never before done" crap are just camera tricks and illusions. Notice how in almost all of his big stunts, the camera moves away or theres something blocking. I dont believe his crap. David Blaine is more real than he is.
