I am looking to buy other half a DVD writer for Xmas. I have seen the Pioneer DVR-110D 16x internal DVD Writer which looks pretty good but was wondering if anyone had an experiance of using this drive or any other Pioneer items? It there a better DVD write out there or shall I go with this one?

Pioneer are a decent brand name and you can get a better deal if you look around...

Search on maplin.co.uk, or try other sites electronically to see if the product your looking for can be found...

Yea.. DVD writer are always good. Now a days the technology is moving fron CD to DVD, so it's better to go for a DVD writer

There are many.. sony,samsung,lg etc are the popular ones.but i'd recomend LITEON. so far,it is the only dvd writer that supports dual layer writing and is below Rs 2500.its worth the money and is upto date. a dual layer dvd writer has double the density ie, 8GB.
