for a x'mas party I am wearing shorts (you could say not pants) (small black/grey chequered) stretch knee high boots, but not sure what kind of top to wear - I am small/flat chested.... please can you help?

it's hard to say without seeing it but i would say a black tunic t-shirt (the ones that are kindof long)

I like the shorts idea, sounds cute! But I have never been a huge fan of knee high boots, especially with shorts, and especially to a Christmas party. I guess it all depends on how formal it is..
You can never go wrong with a simple black dress with heels. Or tone down your outfit a little and not wear the knee high boots with the shorts. Black pumps would be really cute :)
Just personal opinion. Don't take offense.. I would want someones personal opinion, and there you have it! GOOD LUCK HUN!!!

How about a tight stretch black turtle neck. It will even out the porportions of your outfit from top to bottom.

how about wear capri's
and high heeled sandals
and for the top a short (about thigh short) and flowy dress
but not sleeveless.
but if you are in a tropical country you can wear sleeveless

I would go for a halterneck with a V at the front. It will accentuate your chest and make the most of your shoulders.

i`d go for a gray sparkly top.black will make you look smaller..some grey fur around the collar would be nice.
