Go down to your local courthouse and look up restraining orders. Choose a common last name for a computer search to find one, if you must. Once you have the docket number, ask to see the file. Usually, the complaint will give you enough information to get the story.
If nothing else, just sit in a courtroom for a trial. Small claims would be best for this.
