Depending on what you are castrating will depend on where you go. there are several methods to it. If it is for large animals (farm stock) I would call the local large animal vet and ask to ride along. If it is for small animals ask to observe an operation and take pictures. You can also look up the Merk manual. this is a manual for veterinarians. (i assume you are talking about castrating animals). If you have Agriculture classes available at your school, try talking to the instructors. when i was in an ag class i invited the local veterinarian to bring in a steers stomach and he disected it in front of us to show us the several different stomachs. The local Humane society is another resource you can use.

Get a goat and tie its balls with a string and then take a pic and your teacher should love that. After the goat's balls fall off then you can take another pic and show the whole class what castrating an animal is all about.
