There are 3 signs of pregnancy. The presumptive, probable and positive signs. Presumptive signs include those are felt like nausea ( feeling of vomiting), vomiting, dizziness and others. Not all pregnant feel this.
The 2nd is the probable signs like positive pregnancy test, abdominal enlargement and brest enlargment, uterine enlargement, cervical changes! These are those we see.
The 3rd is positive signs like ultrasound findings of fetal activity, with the sac & the fetus which was done to you. The fetal heart sounds as determined by doppler! Movement of the baby at 20 weeks age of gestation on 1st pregnancy & 16th weeks age of gestation for those on their 2nd pregnancy or the multigravida, given birth several times.
Dont worry! Pre natal check up is advisable once a month for the first 7 months. Every 2 weeks later on & every week if near term. The whole of pregnancy is 40 weeks. However, if you feel something like headache, persistent dizziness, having vaginal bleeding not near delivery, consult as soon as possible.

You are newly pregnant, just relax.
I know it easy to get worried about your little one, espeically when it is your first!
Everyone else is right. Every pregnancy is different. My first pregnancy was much like yours. I hardly had any symptoms. I didn't even suffer from morning sickness.
My second pregnancy though..wow, I was sick a lot! It was not fun.
Just enjoy your easy pregnancy. Try not to worry either. Stress if not good for you or the baby. If you are truly worried then don't be afraid to see your doctor. He can give you a quick check-up and relieve your fears.
And put your feet up and relax new mommy!
Enjoy your little one when he/she comes! Good luck!

I don't see how you could hear the heartbeat at 5 weeks. The heart isn't even developed at that time. It's more like 12 weeks. The swelling breast and being tired are normal, although they really get bigger closer toward the end of ur pregnancy. During your 2nd trimester and into the early part of ur third, you will regain more energy and not be as tired all the time. Also, morning sickness is one of those things that happen to some more than others, and may not happen to at all to others. My mom wasn't sick at all with me but was until about 3 months with my brother.

I'm pregnant (about 12 weeks) and I;ve had 2 previous pregnancies. Many people envy me because I've never had any nausea, morning sickness, etc. Only my nose is much 'sharper'. So be happy, you're a few of the lucky mother-to-be! Your life and activities aren't disturbed at all by your pregnancy. Enjoy!
