That's awesome! I hope you do relocate to singapore...as your president, Geoge Bush himself said, Singapore is the Jewel of Asia. Ironically, I will be migrating to the states next year...because of a job offer.
The best way to move to singapore, is to actually get a company transfer, which would be a walk in the park if ur in banking/finance/oil/consulting, etc...
Drop me an email if u like more info abt Sgp...like where to live, how to go abt getting a place, places of interest, etc...
Good luck! : )

dude, not sure what your reasons are wanting to work and live in singapore but i'm sure you have thought about it thoroughly.
i would like to give you my personal views both pros and cons.
i am singaporean living in calif for the last 4 years for work. so far i have liked what i see and the life here. although a lot of things i felt could be done better - too many to mention but some examples are the banking system, crime policing, healthcare, etc. the biggest pro i feel is the cost of living. almost everything is cheaper here than in singapore. cars, homes, food, clothing and many more if one cares to shop around. in singapore, it is a stressful pressure cooker. everyone works very hard and long hours. if you don't you will be left behind. all these are for them to afford their cars, home and buying expensive goods. food may be cheap in singapore but other than that most material things cost quite a bit. the education and healthcare system takes good care of permanent residents and citizens so healthcare is cheap.
i guess the grass is always greener on the other side. but i hope you have thought it thru in detail. you must find a good paying job and be prepared to work hard. i am sure singapore will welcome you with open arms.
i on the other hand found the grass greener in the US.
good luck!

Singapore Government is encourage more foreign's expert to migrate to Singapore. Unless you are considering investing in Singapore, if not, the best way is to find a Company that required your expertise to employ you here. You probably can try to search at various job site. Good luck.

Get yourself employed by a company here, so your work visa and other arrangements will be less of a hassle. Alternatively, get a job with an American company that is going to send you here. This choice shall probably entitle you to expatriate status with all its perks. Of course skills are essential.
