Nothing helped my husband so I got an MP3 player (a cheaper one) and downloaded relaxation music and my favorite songs that I listen to on the earbuds as I fall asleep. It completely blocks out his snoring and I get some peaceful sleep.

Consult a doctor. I heard that they perform an operation on the throat part. I am not sure what they call it, but they now have an operation to stop snoring.

i am snorer - i have two recipes for this: one reason for snoring is drying up of nostrils and blockade - so first deblock the nostrils and apply few drops of til ka teil - this is dadima's remedy - it always works for three-four hours.amd has no side effects ur spouse will have smooth sleep. the second is a nasal spray costing the earth - it is a steroid - rhinocort nasal spray. better consult ur doctor before this medicine - for the till ka teil, better consult ur mom or the grocer !!

She's right about the breathe right strips. They often work, but if not, breathe right also has a throat spray, or you could try a humidifier/dehumidifier, new pillows, sleeping partially upright, losing weight (that's a big one.). If none of this helps, they might suggest your spouse have their tonsils removed or be tested for sleep apnea.
