well if the yellow brick road goes to the emerald city where the wizard lives, maybe the red brick road would lead to the wicked witch of the east?
like you, I don't know but it seems logical in a fairy tale kind of way.

The red brick road was in the 2nd one and I think it went down to the wheelers or it might have branched off the yellow brick road and dorathy took the red brick road instead going the wrong way through a creepy forest that lead her to a nasty witch???????

you should check out the book "wicked" there is a map on the inside and it may have the answer. there were many towns in the oz area. so maybe it went to one of the other towns.
