I would like two kids, with the oldest child to be the girl and
the younger to be a boy.
Since girls tend to develop socially faster than boys,
I think a girl would adjust faster to having a younger brother, and would be more apt to model after me to help him and to share.
I find that boys benefit from having older sisters when it comes to understanding other people, especially women, later in life.
Also, if I had a girl who was as sensitive and empathetic as I am, she might benefit from being the first born so that she has time by herself before she has to share parental attention with another sibling and deal with another person's feelings and needs. If she is exceptionally empathetic as I am, she might end up constantly deferring to others if that is her only experience.

Yeah, when I go to the store I prefer the boys........
Most people have their own kid. Homeade is always better than storebought.
