CRC is cyclic redundency check, it sounds like your computer is having a hard time integrating the game software. I'm not really sure how to solve it without knowing all the particulars, you might just not be able to play that game on that machine

CRC stands for cycle redundincy check.

basically it means your computer has copied the files to your computer, and then when it checks the cd to make sure they are the same, they don't match up.

How to solve it?
if its just the disc, then it could possibly be a firewall, or a protection on the cd. if the cd is burned, it could mean that when the cd was burned that it messed up a little, and will need to burn a new cd. if you really need the data, try another cd rom, but most likely the data is gone for good

Another possibility, if this is a file you downloaded or copied from somewhere: CRC failure is often an indication that you're trying to install from a compressed file that's damaged. You can try to repair the archive by opening it in winzip if it's a zip file, or winrar if it's a rar file, and trying to repair it. But your best bet is probably to get another copy if you can.
