I had a #6 meal with 3 soft tacos, and a grilled stuft burrito on the side, which gave me heartburn something fierce so I couldn't sleep all night, which caused me to be late for work, which in turn caused my boss to yell at me, and I didn't get get paid for the hour of work that I missed.
I hear some woman got like 2 mil from Mcdonalds because their coffee spilled on her, so do you think I could win if I sued Toxic Bell for pain, suffering and reparations for missed work? I don't want much, I think 700 large should cover it.

First of all, everyone knows that if you eat at Taco Bell you are asking for some type of pain. Yes, we all eat there and then sometimes regret it, but think about it. Once you realized you had heartburn, why didn't you take something for it, drink a whole bottle of pink stuff. Granted the lady that sued and got money was about as stupid as a box of rocks, but now that she did that, no other fast food is going to let that happen again. You know, sort of the mom of the fat kid blaming McDonalds, what a moron, be a real mom and cook something.
Dude, just let it go, and the next time you decide you want a taco, make it yourself. It is really easy to do. Brown your groundbeef, add a package of taco seasoning and water, let it simmer 10-15 min. drain the fat off. Buy you a bag of shredded cheese, salsa or sauce and sourcream ( if you like) shredded lettuce and tomatoes. Your all set........................

If you sue Taco Bell, you need to prove that the food caused your illness. Heartburn and loss of sleep is probably not enough harm. As for being late and getting yelled at and the lost wages for the lost hour, that's not compensable because the causation is too attenuated.
Chuck it up as a lesson learned. No Taco Bell on work nights.

1 Didn't know Taco Bell sold burgers. #2 HIV is pretty fragile. It dies in the air. Splooging on your food would be a near impossible way to get it. #3 You can sue for anything you want. You can sue because someone is wearing a purple shirt...... Doesn't mean you are going to win.

Don't waste your time and money. Taco Bell is part of a corporation that owns, among other things, Pepsi, Pizza Hut & the San Francisco 49ers. They have enough money to put off your case and tie you up in litigation for eternity. I know a lot of people that get gastric distress from eating at Taco Bell. My best advice to you is just not to eat that food anymore.

Nope. It's your fault you ate all that food that is known to cause heartburn. In the future, you should take heartburn medication BEFORE you go eat at Taco Bell.

ok overeating is not taco bells fault, and the woman in the mcdonalds case got 3rd degree burns. the only reason she won was because they'd had several hundred previous complaints/injuries so they KNEW the coffee temp was hazardous. the settlement she got was equal to 3 days coffee sales for mcdonalds.

Are you serious? The woman in the McDonald's case I believe had 3rd degree burns in the vaginal area and on her thighs. . you are comparing your wimpy heartburn to 3rd degree burn? Go buy some tums and stop eating at Taco Bell.

No case. The coffee thing happened because Mickey Dee's had a practice of handing over coffee that was too hot to drink - it's just by chance she burned her crotch instead of her esophagus. So she had no way of knowing the coffee was scalding, til she was burned by it. Everyone already knows Taco Bell will give you indigestion. You gotta get em on something that's not common knowledge.

You deserve nothing. But how about 700 small.
Should more then cover your wage for one hour.
Then you can go buy some cheese to go with that whine.

get a life you have no solid evediance that would allow you to sue taco bell. we all know that it will give you heart burn expecally if you eat their hot of fire sauce on your stuff. thats just commin sence. and about the heart burn thats your fault not theirs, because your the one who was being a piggy and eating all that food and your the one who ordered what you did not them. they just prepare it for you. you can allways take tums or over the counter meds for heart burn. so thats no excuse for being late for work.
