Easy : Earth has an atmosphere.
An air blanket surrounding it.
Due to varying densities of air layers as we move higher in the atmosphere., refraction takes place.
This results in the sky being blue.

From my knowledge, I think it's because our Earth has an Ozone layer, it reflects the colour of the sea and that's why we see sky as blue.
Maybe like some answered, it might be due to the atmosphere as well. The atmospheric pressure or density might cause the brightness of the colour.

It's not. It only looks blue because of the breaking of the light.

Why does this question get asked like, six times a day? The sky is blue because it is male. If it was pink then it would be female. Duh!
