Is this a joke? Washington state by far. DC is ensconced by crime and too many people, wash. state has the mountains rivers and ocean. DC is 63% black which constitutes a lower standard of living, more crime & debilitated housing (it's the numbers talking people, not me). Washington has the most intelligent city in the country (Seattle) and is starting to live "green" while most of the rest of the country is living in banana land. DC does have a high conglomoration of degreed, intelligent persons, but the majority do not make their permanent homes in DC. I could go on and on, but there is just no contest. be well, Jack

Wow, you particular are making plans forward! From my journey, single human beings seem to have a greater effective time in DC. they're greater in all probability to stay with roommates (saving money by splitting hire and utilities and getting to stay in a large place), which leaves greater money to spend going out and having a sturdy time. If I knew a single individual shifting to this area i might tell them to stay interior the city. DC is a city of gradual to no substitute, so by 2010, i won't be able to think of that very virtually something will substitute. nicely, according to hazard the southwest waterfront. that's presently a incredibly sketchy area (in the lifeless of night for the main area), and the city is making an attempt to convey greater employer and housing there to make it a trip spot, particularly than a place no person visits at night. by 2010, you would be attentive to how the project worked out. Plans are interior the works to convey the Metro line farther west into northern VA, yet that's no longer very useful to somebody residing in DC. The experience from, say, metro middle, will probable be a minimum of a million-a million.5 hours to the tip of the hot line. additionally they only broke floor on an intercounty connector street in MD, yet this additionally does not fairly benefit all of us residing in DC. I trust somebody above who mentioned DC is conservative. this is definitely something to bear in mind. it is no longer a exciting city universal, yet you have exciting right here. you're reminded on an regularly occurring basis that it is the seat of government, which for some is cool, and for others is annoying.
