she wants more opinion... my friend met this guy more than a year ago thru a mutual schoolmate way back. the guy admitted at the start that he's the non-committal type. she used to go out with this guy alone watching movies, dining. there were also times when they went out with other friends as a group. they're both professionals. later, the guy became open to the idea of being married. but for months now, they don't see each other anymore. when he calls, he would plan to go out with her several times but he wouldn't confirm exactly when and plans of meeting her wouldn't push through. he just texts her once in a while and calls her up weekly. for 2hours or more, he would tell her so-so things, and at times, his frustrations as well hopes as his hopes in life. he asks her how she's been, etc. my friend got my opinion on this. now, she wants to know what you have to say regarding this kind of guy and what she ought to do.

he's pampering her at the same time fencing(meaning she cant get relationship with other men) her, so that when he finally decided to pursue her it will be immediate and easy

She really need to talk to him to get her point of view over, she needs to ask him does he keep phoning her as he likes her more then a friend & wants a relationship or keeps phoning her as he just wants to be good friends. He's pampering her at the same time fencing (meaning she cant get relationship with other men as he prob. doesnt really know or want to tell & be honest with her as to what he really wants).

I think she has to get to the point with this guy. Talk to him, ask him if he likes her, or loves her, or wants to get together for something real. She should get to the bottom of this instead of waiting for this guy to. I think the sooner she finds out if he's into her or not, the sooner she can move on to committment with him, or move on to someone else.

He has an idea but he doesnt sound committed to her completely. She can hope that he comes around, but she may be waiting for a long time and that can be stressful and painful. Peace.
