Well, from what I understand the music is usually added later in editing so it shouldn't be a factor however if he is so easily distracted from his task by dodgy music how is he going to cope with the crew standing around having tea and biscuits and commenting on his performance?

apparenty its not as easy as it may seem and recuitment of males in this field is tricky. it takes a lot of blood and focus to maintain the solidity of that thing. the cheesey music will only make it harder (or not) earplugs are not that attractive, so the best way would be to learn to love it. If he buys a few tracks and plays them over and over all day he will change his mind eventually and will be asking you to join him in nights out to the cheesey disco.

Well it it's that big he probably has a "hard" time coping with not passing out due to blood loss to the brain, besides they add the cheesy music later.
