I know a bunch of people that are on foodstamps and living on the system (my pathetic brother is one of them) and they keep having a bunch of dam kids, what's up with that ? They cry about how they're poor and have nothing but keep having kids.....If they got rid of the welfare system ....then what would they do??

Why do keep asking such pathetic questions? Why don't you get a life or a hobby instead of looking for people you can criticize what is wrong with your life you got to try and look for things that are wrong with people? You need the help what would you have to talk about if there was no welfare?? I feel sorry for your brother because hes related to you I could see why he needs the help!

If you're broke with no job prospects, what better way to spend the time with your signifcant other than makin bacon?
I do think it's a result of bad decisions made by lazy, irresponsible people. Birth control is freely available but people do learn to work the system.
Still there are women who confess they made a one-night stand mistake that saddled with a child to support for 18 years. Many use welfare to access job training and higher education (both are severely under-funded) and are able to break the cycle. You will always have multi-generational welfare families. But when used for what it was intended, welfare can also be a ticket out of poverty and a wasted life. As an ex-eligilbility worker, I've seen and helped make it happen.

I have often asked myself this one. I have come to several conclusions:
1.Having kids is a “no brainier”. It takes little thought.
2.It is easy to get sympathy when you have a lot of kids.
3.It costs nothing to have a baby is the state is paying for the delivery room, etc.
4.Obviously the welfare/food stamps are a motivation.

They keep having these kids (not damn kids -it's not their fault) because the SYSTEM gives the family more money to help with those kids and in a lot of cases (NOT ALL) the money only helps support the drug or alcohol habit of the parent. The care of the children then needs to be taken care of by a responsible family member (sister /parent) of the adults recieving the system's money --and they do this because, as I said earlier .....IT IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE INNOCENT CHILD.!!!!!

Liberal leftist extremist communism in action. The libs in the government provide worthless jobless leaches on society with food, a home, and money to buy their crack. These sub-humans then in turn re-elect these communists.....it is a vicious cycle.
These same politicians send our jobs out of the country to ensure that these people will never have a decent job and therefore be able to support themselves.
If the welfare (stealing from those with jobs) system is abolished, there would be huge riots all over the country, as these leaches think they are entitled to steal from those who are productive parts of society.

Flippin move into the churches that keep encouraging senseless reproduction.
Health care and the welfare system would save themselves a ton of money if they offered free birth control and/or sterilization.
WHY do they do it? maybe they think they're going to hit the jackpot with one of them(though a kid is statistically more likely to be a serial killer than a nobel prize winner).

Some people think that having kids will get yourself nice furniture and clothes--that is what one idiot told me a long time ago. Other reasons maybe just to shock their parents or get attention.
In my opinion, if you do not have one million dollars in the bank, do not have any kids.

because when retarded people live on the system the more kids they have the more money they get i have seen the same thing i deliver pizza to people and you see all these people that live in crappy neighborhoods with a lot of kids and yet they order pizza and of coarse they don't tip
