The Internet is not a good place to learn the English language, as most conversation posted seems to be limited to poor grammar and very bad examples of the language. Your best bet in learning English is to take classes with teachers who specialize in teaching English as a second language.

If you need to improve your English language, the better option is to start speak in English with your friends (words may go wrong, dont get depressed keep speaking) also try to think in English rather than thinking in your Native Language.

I don't know how you can talk to sport players, but if you download Skype, you can speak to real people and that can help your english, if you get someone who pronounces well. It's free at skype.com
