I love to go to the movies. The popcorn, the other people - it's just fun. But, I also get videos from the library. that way I can see all the old movies and the off the wall ones, and the ones i missed. There's nothing better than a lazy day and good movie or two.

I wait for the DVD becuase of the extra features. And becuase theaters over charge on everything and no matter what kind of movie it is you always find someone making out. That is why I don't go to theaters.

It depends on the movie. The price has risen too much for me to go to every movie that I think looks good. Too many disappointing movies to waste my money.
I will go for the big blockbuster movies like Pirates of the Caribbean or Superman. Films that rely on big special effects, sci-fi movies, they need to be seen on the big screen. If I believe that they will be worth my money, I'll go. Lately I feel like I've only been the theatre about 4-5 times a year. There just haven't been that many movies that I've been excited about enough to pay $8.50 for.

I have 2 young children so I usually wait for DVD. Although, I am going to the theater to see Rocky Balboa.

well, it depends upon the types of films. if the movies are very attractive then i cant wait for its release and go to the movies. but if the situation is not like that then the situation is different.

have waited for Cars till DVD came out
went to see all three Lord of the Rings
and then bought the set

I wait till someone buys the movie, borrow it, and if I like it, then I'll buy it, or tape it from television when it comes on.

I go to cinema.
If I like the movie I buy it for my collection.
