window xp pro update failure.?

sad, but true. my update capabilities for xp pro are gone. i am using a special it program to get updates, but i cannot access the site directly for ms or windows updates. windows defender will also not update but according to my system files i'm geyying updates, but when i do a search for those i have, it never changes. anyone have any suggestions? i've been trying everything but reloading the whole program from scratch. any help would be appreciated. please, no silly answers, just serious solutions, if any exist.

well, i don't know any answer that can help u but i might know the problem, it might be ur hardware that does not support the new updates, how old is ur pc? if it is new call ur manufacter and if is not u can just try by changing the motherboard. sorry i can't be of any help, good luck dude

So basically turn of this service and also you're wonderful. flow to the administration panel, double click Admin equipment and then double click facilities. seek for for "Messenger". Double click the get admission to and choose DISABLE for the startup style. click ok and also you're finished.

If you have a legit copy of windows xp it should update from micosoft,make sure automatic updates is turned on in your services and in your control panel.
