I like it. And what about sticking with the original spelling? Luqman looks better than Lukman I think.

well fine, but truthfully here in america, kids are harsh, and they will make fun of him, unless you call him Luke from the beginning, or they will call him something like loogie lukman. (not trying to sound mean), why put your kid through that?

i don't like it but also don't hate it. it is really original! sounds a little like a surname though....... kids always end up becoming the name though, u love the child, u end up loving the name.
