Look around to see if someone dropped it. If can't find anyone, then yes, I would probably stick it in the Sal Army bucket with the bell ringer. I, too, believe that found or stolen money is cursed...

If found with some ID like wallet or purse, I'd return it anonymously, otherwise I'd donate some (at least 10%) to a charity and enjoy the remainder :-)

It was meant for you to find, see the original movie Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.

If it was without a wallet or anything important, I'd keep it.
If it was a few hundred dollars more I'd take it to the local police station and mention that I found it.

I would pick it up, look around for someone who just passed by, if I couldn't find anyone, and really want to keep it, I would give half to charity, and keep the other half. It would be easier on my mind to do that.
In the country where I live, I would hand it in to the police, fill a form, and in 6 months, if no one claimed it, I would get to keep it. I would get it in full amount, and it would be legal to keep!
But if I were somewhere else? I would follow the top paragraph.

If it were paradise I was living in.. I would hand it in to the police.

But for now I would take my girlfriend out to a nice restaurant & maybe buy her a small gift.

It's obvious I cannot return it to Ben Franklin and it won't have any other name on it. It would be unfortunate for the one who lost it, but finders keepers.

I would definietely take it,coz I'm in desperate need of money. can't find job and my savings are running out,so I'd really appreciate such finding^_^ I guess I'd pay some bills with it.

Well, I would pocket it. Both myself and my partner are out of work currently and I would look on it as a gift from above.

Look around, stuff it in my pocket and keep walking. Not sure what I'd spend it on, it depends on what I need at the time.
