Depending on the incision if the doctor did an excellent job in cutting you a "bikini cut" and/or "stapled or sewed" it back together and you kept yourself from lifting anything heavy or doing nothing strainuous after the surgery. Then all should go well... I reccomend putting coco butter on the incision so the slightly small shown scar could go away. Mines barely look like its there and I put coco butter on it to make the marks go away. Good luck~

I think it may depend on the type of c-section performed.
I had a low, horizontal cut, which was larger than usual, as my son was up high and transverse, but it still not a "bad scar"
I am planning another c-section in just 6 weeks. The doctor is going to cut along the old scar and then fold it under when he closes me, that way the scarring that remains will be minimal.
Vertical c-section scars are more prominent, as the skin does not heal as well from this type of trauma.

Depends if you have a planned c-section & everything goes ok It will be small under or over the belly button (depending on surgeon)
A Emergency C-section can leave the scar of a hacker, my friend looks like pretty bad & she choose a c-section, the baby got under distress & the had to operate quick hence nasty unplanned scar.

It's quite a long scar (right across the top of the bikini line). Mine is very neat and after my first baby faded to a thin white line (I had my second c-section 3 months ago so it's more prominent at the moment). I really like my scar (however, the other changes to my body post-pregnancy I do not like!).

now a days more advace techniques available so it leaves less scars. And it done horizontally rather than vertically very lower to abdomen so it covers in the dress.

Not any more, They use a laser(at least at my hospital) and it's about 7 inches long and think I would have to point it out for you too see it.

as far as I know they only cut about 3 or so inches now, years ago it was like from one side to the other.

Mine is due to not taking care of it... Now is red and visible (to me). But it will not be prominent to others as it is located way below my abdomen.

nowadays they only make a 4 incision and normally do it in the fold of your belly so you can barely see it and it is coverd by your undies
