an old tape recorder that looked great - my brother had got it at a garage sale - but he never checked it out, and it didn't work... the thrill was there, and I guess that's what gifting is about - but still, it ought to have worked - just a bit ? maybe? oh well, just like getting a lottery ticket - you don't need it, but what if the dream came true?

Technically,I'm getting my Christmas present tomorrow, but this year, I got jeans.I'm okay with getting clothes for Christmas, but 1 pair of jeans?But hey,almost nothing was open late at night.

Every time someone gives you a gift it is a way of saying they care, so there are no bad gifts...not even those grandma style panties I got from mom last year.... ;)

A vacuum. My husband thought it was a great gift. I almost threw it at him. Guys, women don't want things that plug into the wall. We want things that sparkle or smell good.....

A lava lamp..I guess I would've been okay,but I got it a week after Christmas(they say they have your present,but you still haven't gotten it) and then when I got it,it was broke..LOL.. Girl,I almost lost it..

Well, I got chocolates, but I couldn't eat them because they had nuts and I'm allergic. So, I shared them with my host-father (I was on a student exchange at the time). He broke his tooth on one of them and I had to spend his Christmas at a dentist with him!
