no, you don't have to use a computer... just write neatly and don't join letters. caps lock is neater than lower case letters, i think. but it's fine either way. just be neat :)

I'm Asian, too and like what most have correctly answered (keyword: most), it means you (hand)write everything in capital letters. No cursive writing, no small letters after the 1st captial letter. As a rule- Everything in offical forms should and must be written in capital letters. Saves a lot of time and energy not having to come back another day with a properly filled out form.

It's asking you not to write in cursive is all. What you're reading right now is pretty much what printed is. It's your normal handwriting.

It's old school, when people would fill out forms on a typewriter. Just print it in; save yourself the hassle of figuring out how to fill it in on your computer (unless, of course, it's an online form).

You can type your name with a computer it'll look best. But if you use a pen print each letter in capitals is best.
