I am looking for other suggestions, but here is my view of the scene!
I found that Las Vegas was a wonderful week of activities and site seeing. We went to one of the shows and it was great, but I really found the night lights to be the most interesting. Try going walking down the strip in the day time check everything out. Look at each major club. That night or the next night walk down the strip and take pictures of the buildings, the lights, water falls and people. Notice at night the depth and clarity of lines and lights of the Buildings. Focus on the buildings and how they come together, meet and then connect or just transform.
Stop at Caesers Casino. Go inside and walk through the mull. It will take a while but just enjoy it.
As you are going through the underground Mall, measure how you feel. Check out how the other people feel. Man did I feel good and I thought about that seriously.

The free stuff is always fun to see... Volcano at Mirage, Fountains at Bellagio, Sirens at Treasure Island, etc.

But by far the best memory I have of Vegas was seeing Danny Gans at the Mirage with my wife. He is an incredible performer. I've also seen Mystere at Treasure Island and Blue Man Group when it was at the Luxor and although they were good, they weren't as much fun as Danny Gans was.

That the same people in the same clothes were in the SAME spot at the stupid slot machines they were at the Night Before when I came down in the Morning to go to MY conference/meetings the next day!

That alone was weird.

That, and being the Cost Estimator that I am -- all I could do was think of a good estimate for the cost of keeping all those lights lit throughout the day and the night -- wow!

My husband and I were married just outside Vegas, so that was probably the most memorable thing for me.

This past summer we went on a cruise on Lake Mead which was a lot of fun. It was cool and the scenery was beautiful.

I love the Fremont Street Experience...I like the downtown area a lot...great souvenirs!

There's always something to do in Vegas, I found some of the most interesting things happening are just watching what everyone else is doing. We were in the MGM at 4am watching the hookers pick up the old, fat convention guys! It was totally fascinating!

We spent a day at Wet and Wild waterpark. 111 degrees that day, it was the best place in town!
