over two years all four 'wisdom teeth' (back molars) had to go - the upper molars were "impacted" and caused frequent headaches and agony I was better off without. I didn't realize how much low-level pain i was used to until I had them removed.
Other than that I am missing one visible front tooth - a right upper cuspid. That was damaged in an accident, and my wife has said my choice of a gold tooth as replacement is just not appropriate! ( my Yahoo pic shows the gap clearly, a bit 'o' gold couldn't look any worse, could it?)

I wish. When I was younger a playday went horribly wrong and I ended up messing up one of my two front teeth. Over time it became an issue, so I opted for a crown, which I hate so much! I wish I could have my real tooth back...having this fake shyt in my mouth is strange. But my tooth began to die and discolor, so, hey.

YES!
However I do have a true & FUNNY as h3ll story about a lady who lost hers.
Back in the 70's this man was working on our house & his wife tagged along.
My Mom being the Southern lady that she is invited her in out of the summer heat & offered her refreshments.
Well, later on she helped herself to some hard peppermint candy that was in the candy dish.
All of a sudden she went running out the door & galloping around.
(I can still see her in my mind, yes she was galloping!)
My Mom realized she was choking on the disc candy & started chasing HER to hit her on the back to dislodge it.
Her hubby up on the roof came running down the ladder & my Mom was trying to tell him what was wrong.
All the while they had formed a follow the leader type deal.
Finally her hubby caught up w/ her & got her unchoked.
But her FALSE TEETH WERE MISSING!
Well, Mom & Dad had us 6 kids join the search but couldn't find her teeth.
Finally we noticed that our dog was missing.
One of us kids recalled seeing him heading off under the house during the "choke & chase" so we called Orvell out from under the house & out he stumbles w/ the dentures firmly clinched in his mouth.
That was a sight to see!
And the funny thing was during the chase I had forgotten that my new boyfriend was on his way to pick me up & he had arrived while my Mom was chasing the lady.
I didn't even know it!
And what happened to the lady & her teeth?
She wrestled them from our dog & plopped them suckers in her mouth w/o missing a beat!
That was sooo gross!!!
Talk about embarassed...
however it didn't scare him off as he later became my hubby.
That was just too funny not to share w/ ya'll.

Yes. No cavities, either! I don't brush twice a day, and I don't floss. I guess I have an immunity to "The Evil Gingavitis!"
