Taurine is a sulphur containing amino acid-a colorless crystalline compound- found in free form in invertebrates and in the biles of mammals.It is present in most cells of the body-adrenal glands, blood,cardiac muscle and the brain.

Are you talking about ingested sulphur? Intraveinous? Anyway, the first question you should ask is, "is it fat-soluable enough so that it can pass through the blood-brain barrier?" I have no research to cite, but I'd imagine not.

It has nothing to do with the brain although it might be there to make your blood pressure in there calm down.
