What year did you graduate high school? What bands, movies, etc do you remember from high school?

1973...it was sooooooooo long ago, I don't remember much about movies except Bonnie & Clyde. The music was the 70s stuff, I was into bubblegum at the time, so I was listening to 1910 Fruitgum Company, The Archies, The Monkees, Ohio Express. That's about all I can remember now. A long long time ago!

I graduated in 1967. The Beatles were still very popular!! I was a BEATLEMANIAC!I loved so many groups, including Herman's Hermits,Peter and Gordon, The Seekers, The Monkees, The Everly Brothers, The Dave Clark Five...endless list. I remember "Doctor Zhivago" being a giant of a movie. Also "The Graduate," "Bonnie and Clyde,"....the first movie I saw with violence and "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner."
I remember Vietnam, Walt Disney dying, the horrific tragedy of Apollo 1,(Virgil "Gus" Grissom, Edward White and Roger Chaffee die in a flash fire during testing of the Apollo I space capsule at Cape Kennedy, Florida.) Elvis got married,Mission Impossible" first came on tv,Beatles' "Penny Lane", single went to #1 , US female Figure Skating championship was won by Peggy Fleming,Jack Ruby, the man who shot suspected JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald, died, and Paul McCartney got engaged to Jane Asher....some girls wore a black armband, in mourning.
I also remember wearing a paper dress!!
I loved my years in high school. We respected our school,teachers and country. We said the Pledge each morning and we said a prayer. It was a more innocent time and I cherish it.

I finished high school in 1997, rember my little blue Toyota Conquest Tazz, my friend and I spent most of the year driving around finding bars and clubs, music wise we were always in to hard rock, ie Guns N Roses etc but i think The Prodigy wa pretty big that year, movie wise I think there wasnt many great movies that year or else I missed them whilst being in the bars!

1998,i remember backstreet boys were big,the spice girls but i think geri had left by then,hanson.i think boy bands and girl bands were big cos i have a feeling all saints were around as well as n sync etc(some of my cd's i hide from people they are that embarrassing!).there was aslo aqua,that tubthumping song,can';t think what else.
Movies,i remember seeing titanic,there's something about mary,the wedding singer,city of angels.

1981, i wished i was older bcuz i was a total radical.protested lunch w/a brownbag sit down strike in the quad,made them put in a salad bar. lynyrd skynrd, of course. i'm a redneck.but, love ALL music 2 an extent,mean,porno,druggie...NO. but, love queen, led zeppelin, etc. movies, rocky horror, the shining(w/jack n) the big chill, gtwtw,the original dracula w/bela lugosi...the graduate,i am very eclectic...like a lot of everything... & i love YOU!!!!!
