My friend's 22 years old and she has a 2 year old baby boy. There staying in a motel as of right now, but needs help finding the right place for her.

Can she stay with you until she can find a place? Have her go to the department of social services. They can help her find a place to live and help pay for it.

She can apply for assistance and receive temp housing and school for her and the kid through the state...take her an kid to the nearest county social service office...a social service officer will take her case from there...

The local welfare department can probably provide her help and opportunities to better herself. Once she's working, she can probably apply for HUD housing as a single mom and low income.

If she is in danger she needs to go thru the LAW. they can direct her in the possible choices she has..... or because of the child she may be able to go the Child protection .... or a woman shelter, red cross, etc............ God bless

alot of that depends on where she is located like what state I have alot of information on the subject my wife works in one of those battered womens shelters
