I have pcos and have read that vitex can help me to ovulate. Has anybody tried vitex? If so did it help you to ovulate....and become pregnant.

I' m taking vitex i really like it. I hadnt had a period in a year and i took vitex for the first two weeks and finally had aperiod.....it was completely crazy..id reccomend it to anyone! its great!! i havent become pregnant yet but were trying now that im having periods when im supposed to....if your buying vitex by its self you need to get some prenatals and super primorose evening kinda it helps also..goodluck to you lots of baby dust on both of us!!

I tried agnus castus (vitex) when i fell with my son - 3 yrs ago
I did try it again recently to help me ovulate - but it didnt work as well as my PCOS symptoms have increased - so am now on Metformin

I have but I did not have PCOS.
It did help me to ovulate more regularly. I had several anovulatory cycles a year before taking it, while on it I ovulated every cycle without fail.
