especially after you bend over backwards to help them out.then they cover the lie with more lies and get so twisted they don't realize that they keep digging a bigger hole.

well its like this.my granddaughter won tickets to a concert that,her aunt promised to take her to,so i was nice and paid her rent,since she's out of work.she had the tickets and told my granddaughter she lost them.so i call gravy(g. wilson who is a friend of family and explain,she gets us more tickets)well her aunt won't answer the phone so,i wind up taking her,and guess who we see?she tells us she was invited by a guy she knows at the last minute who had an extra ticket.but where did we find her sitting?in the seats my granddaughter had won.so her next story is,he must of stole the tickets,thats where i stopped her!steal from me,shoot my dog,scratch my car but,don't lie to a child!!!

I had a friend in high school who was like that. Couldn't keep her story straight from one minute to the next. I accepted that that's just how she was, and I took her stories with a grain of salt. I could still enjoy her company, but I knew not to take her too seriously or share things with her that I didn't want other people knowing. It's these people we keep at arm's length so their lies can't harm us.

Oh my god! I hate that with a passion! Why cant some people just tell the truth. And they lie about the stupidest things.

I dont hate them, but i just pity on them, sometimes i wish they notice that we know that they lied. I think they knew, but they just assumed like we dont know. Its really pity on them.
